Central Michigan University Research Corporation celebrates 20 years of supporting entrepreneurs in the Great Lakes Bay Region
What:
Central Michigan University Research Corporation (CMURC) invites the media to its 20 Year Celebration in Mount Pleasant! All are welcome to join the celebration that will feature live entertainment, food trucks and fun. This is an open-house event that aims to honor entrepreneurs, professionals, and corporations that have supported and participated in CMURC programs since its inception.
Why:
CMURC was established 20 years ago as a Michigan Economic Development Corporation SmartZone. Since then, more than $44 million of capital has been invested into the Great Lakes Bay Region, 1,519 jobs were created, and 367 companies were developed. CMURC plans to celebrate these achievements with those who made it all possible – the community.
