Please join Central Michigan University and CMURC on Saturday, October 17 at 9 a.m., for the official launch of the Central Ecosystem for National Security (CENS) and a first look at the new Critical Materials Lab.
CENS is bringing together Michigan’s academic, industry, and innovation assets through a national security lens to advance applied research, technology validation, workforce development, and commercialization.
A highlight of the launch will be the Critical Materials Lab, a new shared-use resource focused on strengthening capabilities in critical minerals and materials, next-generation battery storage, advanced energy technologies, testing, and validation.
The lab represents an important first step in building the broader CENS ecosystem and leveraging CMU faculty expertise, industry partnerships, and regional assets to address national security priorities while creating new opportunities for Michigan.
We would be honored to have you join us as we officially launch CENS and showcase this new capability.
