MY “AHA” MOMENT
When I owned a food truck the problem I kept running into was fund allocation and having to dictate my business on weather. I was bleeding marketing dollars and not seeing the results I'd hoped for. I thought to myself there has to be a better way. I looked for ways where I could find customers looking for events, instead of them having to look for me. There were no solutions, so I created my own.
THE BIG IDEA
My idea is a marketplace that connects service provides with customers inside of a mobile application or web browser. The second part of my solution is a structure that allows food trucks to serve all year around. Customers can post events and even upload pictures and the service providers calculate prices and inbox the customers. It’s the easiest way to book food.
WHY MY IDEA IS BETTER THAN THE REST
My idea is better because everything I've come across is similar to Google. Customers search for the food or providers they want and have to dig through piles of information to find prices. My app you simply create your order, publish, and wait for the messages to roll in. You pick your favorite provider with the absolute best pricing. Inside of the app is also a built in food truck locator and daily local deals.
