Acceleration Services
Central Michigan University Research Corporation’s Technology and
Innovation Acceleration Program assists high-tech start up companies with
the several challenges faced during the early stages of development. CMU-RC provides direct assistance and leverages
its valuable contact network to ensure clients and tenants receive the best
assistance available in developing their companies.
Promising start up companies that have the intellectual property, but
are in need of top-notch support
and planning, may be eligible to locate within the CART’s Research
Facility, gaining access to a complete suite of incubation services. The
CART’s acceleration and incubation services coupled with regional, and
sometimes national and international visibility, offers start ups a unique
opportunity to grow and expand their enterprises. Additionally, upon
graduating from the accelerator program, companies can locate their
business in The Center for Applied Research and Technology, a
state-designated SmartZone and technology park. The SmartZone currently has
over 300 acres of fully-developed real-estate where companies are able to
relocate and continue to enjoy a wide array of benefits and services.
