Located within the CMU-RC Incubator is a wet laboratory that provides ideal space for startups looking to prove initial concepts and advance them to the point of attracting investors.

Home to many emerging biotech startups, the CMU-RC web lab brings scientists and early-stage startups together, encouraging interaction, facilitating partnerships, and supporting the connectedness of their work.

Wet laboratories provide water, direct ventilation, and specialized piped utilities needed to test and analyze certain materials.Simultaneous and separate ventilation and utility connections ensure reliability, accuracy and safety. Other features include concrete floors; high ceilings; high speed data access; heavy-duty heating, ventilation, and cooling systems; environmental control technology; and loading docks.
